(GotFrag) - According to an article posted on Shacknews.com, there won't be any more additions to the Character Loadout menu until sometime in the New Year:

"Well, it won't be this year," said Lombardi when asked about the next update. "But we're going to keep evolving TF2. Once Left 4 Dead wraps, you'll hear us clamoring more about [Team Fortress 2]."

Apparently many of the TF2 devs have been pulling double-duty, helping finish off Left 4 Dead, which is due out in just over a month, instead of working on our beloved game. No word was given as to when the next release will come out, what class it will focus on (I still think it's gonna be the Spah), or if there will be any more Sandviches.
