all CEVO matches must have a pre-game where everyone goes soldier, gets in 2 parallel lines, and performs the salute taunt at the same time. Admins informed me of this ages ago.

It's a fair comment, and no one should ever really forget about 9/11, but life moves on. We play on historic days from WWI/WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, Gulf War, not to mention any number of natural disasters (Katrina, the Tsunami) or major political events (Civil Rights movement, Kennedy Assasinations, Feminist Movement), or even events outside of the US (fall of the Berlin Wall) - heck, Rememberance Day (Veterans Day to you US folk) isn't even a national holiday. Life moves on, and I don't think 9/11 is any more historically important than any of the other events I've mentioned just because it was more recent.

Remembering those that were lost is the best that we can do. Like rk said life moves on. Terrorists are named so for a reason. They want to inflict terror in thier victims. Not world domination not global change, just fear that they exsist and they might come when you least expect it.
The fact is by sensoring (i.e. removing cs_747) you indirectly accomplishing the terrorists goals. Keep life moving and don't let the actions of others affect the entierty of the world. Good comment btw rk.
Yes, the defeat of Publius Quinctilius Varus at the Battle of Teutoberg Forest on September 11 9 A.D. was a horrible event and one which we should honor by not playing any Team Fortress 2 that day.
Err #11 I think you're missing a few things there. Terrorists most likely want world domination and most certainly want global change. They're called terrorists because they use tactics/strategy's based around causing terror to attain their end game. (taking over the world/global change/death to infidels/who knows what). Making people afraid that they will come for them when they least expect it is a tactic not an agenda.
The best thing to do is to remember / pray (if that is your thing) for the victims of the attacks (or rather, all terrorist attacks), their families, and the men and women fighting overseas from both US and NATO forces. However, I don't think that any of the victims of 9/11 would want the entire US to stop living our lives...as long as we honor them, I think we're okay.

lol, wow guys - I nuked his first post cuz I didn't particularly like the tone of "shoot bush in the face", but that was kind of it. He has every right to not like Bush, and to say so - he never said anything about Americans in general. Secondly, you're all demeaning the term "racism" with this petty banter, which isn't particularly funny.
