It's a link to the profile of whoever is logged in. So if you're logged in and you click it it brings you to your own profile.

#12, 14: no. The link is set up so you add that person as a friend. Yes, it redirects you to your profile, but you added him as a friend as well. If you wanna remove him, just go to his profile and click "remove buddy" near the top.
