Competitors and spectators from around the 3 regions came down to mingle and participate in the CSA’s first 3-way Halo 2 tournament as over 30 teams competed. The event was broken down into two segments; First, with the local LAN tournament where teams were vying for a spot in the Grand Finals. And second, with the center-to-center Grand Finals with the winning teams from their respective locations.

Local Tournament (Double Elimination):

In New York, Team Gogamers.com came back from the lower bracket after a tough loss to VS in the upper bracket finals. Gogamers would defeat TeK in the lower bracket finals and come back to defeat VS twice in a row.

In Dallas, Slaughter All Elites would emerge victorious finding off No Talent after taking a hard loss (28-50) in the first Championship match. They would manage to fend off No Talent in the Grand finals to qualify for the center-to-center grand finals.

In Gainesville, MLG Pimps advanced onto the center-to-center grand finals without taking any losses.

Grand finals (Round robin, Best 2 of 3):

Slaughter All Elites and MLG Pimps would start off the Grand Finals. Slaughter All Elites would squeak by the first map, winning, 30-28. The second map would finish as a tie with MLG Pimps taking the 3rd map 24-28.

Gogamers.com and MLG Pimps match-up would follow with Gogamers taking the set in 2 maps. MLG Pimps stormed back on the 2nd map but it was not enough as gogamers held MLG Pimps in the final minutes to take the map, 42-38.

Gogamers and Slaughter All Elites match up would cap off the evening’s Grand Finals as Gogamers defeated Slaughter All Elites in 2 decisive maps, 50-42 and 46-31.
