After an intense match against eMazing Gaming on Donner, Visual came out on top by just a few points to make it to their fourth championship match. Check Six defeated the number two seed opponent Nomadic Soldiers last week by a comfortable margin, putting this new team into their first championship match for Day of Defeat: Source. As a twist of irony, this match-up is an exact repeat of the beginning of the season when, in week one, Check Six squared off against Visual on Anzio and pulled out their very first win – the underdogs giving Visual their first loss in over two seasons. Everyone has been talking about this match, and there is much to be said given the history and the performances of both teams this season. This match will definitely be a match where the winner is deserving of the title “champion.”
