I dunno how well the Euro CGS fans follow the Region 1 league, but just in case you all didn't know, Optx.css's altered roster this season ended up making them the worst team in the league in season 2. Tbh, I'm slightly surprised Mint.css didn't beat them more easily than just 10-8, since Mint.css has been one of Region 3's better teams.
Gaining a big lead from the CS:S match has typically been the way the other Region 1 franchises have been beating the Optx all season, since the rest of Optx's franchise is pretty strong.
I agree though that Salvo.css is underrated by American fans. Did they win the berth for the CS:S Individual World Final? If so, I look forward to Venom.css vs Salvo.css. It might even happen twice, since Venom's also going to the franchise World Final.
I just wish 3D didn't crap out like they did in the playoffs. Now we won't get to see their revamped CS:S team play against any Euro squads. Shame.
Regardless of whether optx may not have had a great season, it's not like they did a Furia and got trashed every game. Venom have been on fire all season yet optx has still had a few very close games with the teams who are doing better this season. They went into overtime with venom, and ok coL have been struggling too but a 13-5 win over them is still an achievement.
Stop making excuses etc, wp to MiNT and gg to optx. Just don't underestimate the euro teams anymore, a lot has changed since last year.
