MoB - Still showing no remorse with big wins over EG and coL to close out the week. With an easier schedule ahead for them, they look to extend their lead even more.2. X3O - Giving up only 5 rounds, X3O was able to sweep the week with ease over PoV and 50 Calibre. They will have to keep this momentum going if they want to ensure a top placing before playoffs.3. j1n - With their longest streak of the season, j1n looks to add to their three consecutive wins thus far. They are currently tied with PoV for 6th and will need to continue to put up big wins later on if they want to guarantee a spot in playoffs.4. Devastation - Also sweeping their matches, with some help from Forge, Dev began their only two game streak of the season and defeated PoV and MNM with ease. Sitting in 9th place, it will be a long road for them to acheive a spot in the end of the season.5. FD - They started off rough losing to EG but ended up making a comeback in second half to take the win over mainGear to finish it off. Currently they are tied with Complexity for 4th but their slight lead in CPI will only last for so long. Got Skills? Both players had +/- +27, averaged over 41 frags, and a 1.12 FPR. Although they didnt get matched up with tougher competition, they sure got some target practice in. Surprise of the Week: Paragon of Virtue - These guys hit a bit of a bump this week as Forge took a hard hit to them as they got swept by X3O and Devastation. None of the newer teams have put pressure on these guys besides j1n and Frag Dominant. A tough schedule is ahead for them though as they go up against Complexity and EG on Dust2 next week. Stock Rising: X3O - After they were almost 5 games left unplayed at one point, they are on their way to acheiving first once again. Big wins this week really helped their record improve but will not be enough to catch MoB just yet. They will have some big matches coming up and will need to beat EG and MoB later in the season to really have a shot at obtaining the #1 spot. Stock Falling: Mug N Mouse - After an opening five game losing streak in the beginning of the season, they are on their way to another five game losing streak as they head into next week against EG. They almost beat Complexity by 3 if thats something to hang on the wall. Unless they win the next 12 games, I don't see them leaving last place anytime soon. |
