#16 you mean the Mayan's? It's not foretold that it is going to be the end of the world... Everyone is just so full of shiet they don't know how to interpret things anymore. Just because the Calender ended in 2012, doesn't mean the world ends. Perhaps they got tired of predicting the future and said to hell with it after 2012? OR MAYBE they just COULDN'T predict any further?
The Great Cycle of the Mayan Long Count calendar ends on the winter solstice of 2012 A.D. Following Mayan concepts of cyclic time and World Age transitions, this is as much about beginnings as endings. In fact, it was considered by the ancient Mayans to signify the creation of a new World Age. We are almost at the end of the fifth and final 5,125 year cycle!
I aspire to inspire.
