So I played BOE on Sunday morning. After that I did some online banking in the evening. This morning I checked my bank balance and $1000 has been removed. I asked my bank what happened, and they said somebody has purchased a bunch of things from razer-zone, and steelseries.
I asked them to track them down, and they're doing that right now. It's strange how it happened after I installed BOE!! You will be caught!
Someone on the BOE forums said that they are good friends with the owner of BOE (jTam) and said that he could no longer keep this a secret and continued to say that there was infact a key logger installed w/ the BOE client. But ofc the post was deleted after jTam caught wind of it..
So when you logged into your online bank later that evening, I'm sure that is how they got your information, So to anyone who used BOE change your passwords now to anything you might have logged in to in the past couple days..
Well fortunately enough for me, I was GOING to try BOE, since it was free for the time being, But since kodeman is associated w/ BOE, I never went any further than creating an account.
and #8 putting a keylogger is 1. invasion of privacy... and as soon as he bought anything with a bank that wasn't his, it's now identity theft
BOE is a new pugging service much like ESEA, And they were offering free month long trials to anyone who signed up on their site, But like ESEA, there's a client you have to download and use in order to connect to servers, Well in the file that has the client, was also a keylogger... So don't use it.
