The answer to 'why do you believe in God?' is very obscure. The real question is 'why do you believe in the God you do, and not others?'.

As for love after love, yes. I think it would be come increasingly harder to find love though. The more you've loved and lost the less love there is to find. Not only that, but you become emotionally sheltered, so even if you did find love again, you may not be ready.

If you consider Schrodinger's Cat, or the double-slit experiment, one can use that to infer an observer. For us to experience the collapsed wavelength of our own existence, you can consider there to be an observer.
And my suggestion for a supernatural being has nothing to do with religion. Religion is merely a method of control.
