ive got a quad, but my cs freezes with looping sounds, i cant determine the problem

i have a quadcore, Q6600 OC'd to 3.2GHz, CS runs just fine.

im useing the quad core

i have a Q9550 @ 2.83ghz, so i was just wondering if maybe quad cores were having problems with older games like cs

contrary to popular belief, you actually do need a processor that isn't a piece of crap to run 1.6 well.

I have a computer, I play CS.

I don't care about your CAL-invite experience or your highly-respected clubs.

iplay cs on my duo core overclocked to 3,0 and it runs perfect... 90+ fps with 2 smokes..... till 5 i get 75 fps :D

if u having problem with sounds is not ur processor ,,, maybe is ur sound card?
