Back when TGL-P s1 began, the league was the first to employ the new rule set in regular season play. Over the course of several weeks, the rules continued to change slightly but there were few complaints and the league was up and off to a good start. Fast forward two months and the considerable decrease in excitement is obvious, however, there is still a lot of money up for grabs among the eight playoff teams. Unlike CEVO, TGL opted to run a single elimination playoff so there is little room for error. The first round was played out last night, results were less than surprising. Firefighters forfeited to Evil Geniuses, Pandemic routed Dynamo Gaming 13-1, and MoBgaming worked x3o to the tune of 13-7. The final match, between Dynamic and Nexus, has not yet been played. TGL-P playoffs are scheduled to continue with round two next Thursday.
